Il Distinto is our flagship extra virgin olive oil, DOP Monti Iblei Gulfi, produced exclusively from hand-picked Tonda Iblea olives grown in our centuries-old groves on the hills on the hills of the province of Ragusa, between countryside and sea. The olives are cold-pressed within four hours of harvest in our on-site mill, preserving an organoleptic profile of rare intensity. On the nose, vivid notes of green tomato, fresh almond and artichoke; on the palate, an intense fruitiness with balanced bitterness and a bold, lingering pepperiness. Superb drizzled raw over bruschetta, legume soups, fish carpaccio and grilled meats. Winner of multiple prestigious international olive oil awards, it is DOP and organic certified — guaranteeing full traceability from grove to bottle.
