Our Carob and Hazelnut Spread is an artisan cream made with carob flour from centuries-old trees on the estate on the hills of Ragusa and carefully selected, slowly toasted hazelnuts. Iblean carob, naturally sweet and rich in fibre, blends with the buttery creaminess of hazelnuts to create a velvety, enveloping texture. On the palate it reveals notes of caramel, delicate cocoa-like depth and toasted dried fruit, yet contains neither cocoa nor caffeine, making it suitable even for the youngest members of the family. Perfect spread on warm bread, for filling crêpes and brioche or as a base for spoon desserts. A wholesome, healthy alternative to industrial spreads, using only natural ingredients and a fully traceable supply chain.
